Stuntin Builders

How the authors behind finishable maps actually work — and how to become one.

Stuntin Roblox Builders

A Stuntin builder is anyone who hits publish. A good builder is anyone whose map a stranger finishes on a phone. This page is player-focused: habits, not a block-by-block tutorial. For the tray itself use how to build maps and the block tier list.

Habits that show up in S-tier publishes

  • They drive the line in a starter car before they name it. Getting started cars, not their rarest mesh.
  • They steal rhythm, not entire maps. A wave section inspired by the official yellow-car art is fine. A 1:1 copy of a featured track is lazy.
  • They write boring titles. “One loop, easy landing” gets plays. “INSANE 1M CHECKPOINT” gets skips.
  • They place checkpoints where they themselves failed. Ego says skip; data says place.
  • They retest after alpha notes. Physics patches demote loops overnight.

Habits that show up in D-tier publishes

  • Publishing from the editor without a full start-to-finish drive.
  • Stacking boost pads because a kicker “felt slow”.
  • Moving plates on a map they expect 50 people to race — see how to race.
  • Asking for likes in chat before anyone spawned.
  • Blaming drivers who cannot land a missing plate. If the plate is missing, read landings from the driver’s side and then add flats.

How to get testers without being annoying

Ask one friend to Join from your profile. Do not spam a full lobby. Offer a two-minute map, not a tour. After they finish (or fail the same piece twice), change that piece. Testers who bounce are teaching you. Testers who stay for a 20-minute rebuild are saints — do not waste them.

The map planner lets you argue about order before you waste testers on a tray session.

Collaboration

Alpha collab tools are thin. Practical method: one host builds, others drive. Swap roles on the next publish. Do not drop overlapping pieces in the same editor unless the patch clearly supports multi-edit. Desync in the editor becomes desync in the playlist.

Credit and theft

If you rebuild someone’s idea, say so in the description. If you open a “free map pack” from a random Discord, assume it is stolen and full of kill volumes. The links hub is for official Curseddd Games destinations, not random model dumps.

You need three finishable maps, not one megabase. Same skeleton, different feature. Drivers from how to play will recognize the quality. Racers from the racers page will start requesting your titles in chat. That is the entire progression system this alpha has for humans.

When a code eventually gifts a rare block, it still has to sit in an S-tier job or it is decoration. Tools do not replace taste.

A weekly builder cadence that actually ships

Monday: drive three liked maps and write down one rhythm you enjoyed (wave, kicker, loop). Tuesday: fill the map planner with that single rhythm. Wednesday: build for 25 minutes, then stop. Thursday: test in a mid car from the vehicle list and add checkpoints. Friday: publish and sit in lobby long enough to watch one stranger. If they explode at the same crest you exploded at, you already knew — you just hoped the like counter would not notice.

Skip days if a physics [UPD] landed. Retest old publishes before you start a new tray binge. A builder who ships through a handling change is shipping yesterday’s loop into today’s kill volume. That is not hustle. That is clutter on the how to play playlist.

Racers are your testers and your audience. The players hub explains lobby roles. Map tiers is how the playlist will judge you when you are not in the server.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Stuntin questions.

How do I get more plays on my Stuntin map?

Make it finishable. Honest title, checkpoints, one feature, starter-car test. Then ask one friend to Join and run it.

Should I copy featured maps?

Copy rhythm, not geometry. Duplicates get ignored and teach you nothing.

Is building easier on PC?

Yes. Grid snap and camera make the tray usable. Touch building is for small edits.

Do likes equal skill?

No. Completions equal skill. Likes can be bait. Watch whether strangers finish.
