Game Modes in Stuntin
What the Curseddd Games alpha actually supports and how to use each mode correctly.
Stuntin is not a single-mode game. The lobby, the map discover layer, and the builder each serve a different kind of session. This page maps what exists, what works, and what to skip until the alpha matures. Pair it with how to play for playlist navigation and how to race for the squad version of each mode.
Solo map discovery
The default Stuntin session. You spawn in a lobby, browse the map list, and drive community tracks alone. The 50-player server size means most solo sessions have other people in the lobby, but you are not forced to interact. Use the discover list, sort by featured or likes, and finish maps at your own pace.
Solo sessions are where you practise landing without pressure. They are also where broken maps hurt most — see the map tier list audit before you invest time in a new publish.
Friend races
The social core of Stuntin. A host shares a map ID or name, everyone joins the same lobby, and the group runs the track together. The how to race friends page covers lobby flow, ghost racing, and how to share a map ID in chat without it looking like spam.
Friend races work best with agreed rules: which car tier, whether boost is unlimited, whether the first to finish buys the next round. These are not enforced by the game; they are social contracts that make a 50-player lobby feel like a private event.
Ghost racing
In a friend race, the game may show ghost car indicators when multiple players are on the same section. This is not a dedicated ghost mode — it is a visibility feature that varies by server load. Do not rely on ghosts for timing; rely on them for spatial awareness when you are on a split-path section and want to see where your squad went.
The builder as a game mode
Building is a parallel loop that does not require other players. Open the builder, place a three-piece line, test-drive it, and publish. The how to build maps guide is the full version; how to publish is the shipping checklist.
Building is where the game extends beyond the playlist. When the discover list feels stale, a building session adds a map that did not exist an hour ago. That map can be shared in a friend race, which closes the loop between builder and racer.
Featured maps
The Roblox experience surfaces featured or highly-liked maps in the discover list. These have been completed by enough players to earn visibility. Featured maps are the safest solo session bet — they survived the map tier list audit by volume, even if individual titles still overstate difficulty.
New publishes (tester pool)
The new-maps list is the alpha tester bucket. Maps here may be unfinished, may have invisible kill volumes, or may be genuinely good but untested. The rule: give a new map two attempts before you decide it is broken. If the spawn faces a void on attempt one, leave and try again — that is a D-tier on the map list, not a skill issue.
VIP servers and private lobbies
If Curseddd Games has enabled VIP or private servers, they appear in the Roblox server list. These are useful for friend groups who want to build without public traffic or race without lobby interference. Check the experience page for current server options; the alpha may change what is available without a patch note.
What the alpha does not have yet
- Ranked or competitive ladder.
- Persistent time-trial leaderboards.
- Team modes.
- Dedicated ghost replay storage.
- In-game tournament brackets.
The roadmap page guesses at future directions. This page only lists what exists in the live experience today. When a new mode appears, it goes into alpha notes first.
